Tried copying them from cds as I do with my apple ipod, but it says wrong format when I try to play them. Will I have to use a different itunes type thing and buy them again or is there a quick n cheaper way?
First open up windows media player and insert the CD. Click on the tab at the top of the screen labeled rip. Let the CD load and you should see a list of Tracks (they may be labeled or not depending on the CD).apple player mp4 Click all tracks to have a checkmark in each box and click the start rip button at the bottom right of the screen. The tracks will start ripping. Now after they are ripped take our your CD and connect your mp3 player with your cable. The easiest way would be to open up your mp3 device thorugh My Computer and look for hwere it stores music files. THen in a separate window open up your My Music folder. Then just simapple player mp4ply drag your songs over to the other side and drop them. An other more proper method would be to sync your music. iTunes rips the CD's in AAC format, which may be incompatible with your MP4 player. Rip them in Windows Media Player, making sure the copy protection is disabled if you are using it for the first time
